My first gay crush was Burt Ward.

Twice a week for 2 1/2 years, I was in front of the TV waiting to see Robin, the Boy Wonder. When the neighborhood kids and I played Batman & Robin, I always played the villain.

Why? So I could find different ways to tie up Robin!

Those tights with a hint of bulge was the beginning of my wet dreams. Looks like Burt had some too?

So I guess that was also the start of my little rope/handcuff fetish.

Dita Loves Kellie Martin!

I had MANY girl crushes growing up:
Madonna, Debbie Gibson, and Joyce DeWitt. 
But no one warmed my heart like Kellie Martin.

Her character Becca Thatcher from "Life Goes On" was sweet, awkward, nerdy, kindhearted. I wanted nothing more than to be her friend.

I identified with her frustrations and vulnerabilities dealing with school and family. I felt no one else understood her the way I did.

My crush evolved to full devotion when I got a teen magazine that featured Kellie in a bathing suit from "Wild & Crazy Kids" on Nickleodeon.

She was like a goddess.

Even drenched and wet, she looked perfect. Her smile can send my heart all a flutter to this day.

I've continued to follow her career through "Christy," "ER," and the "Mystery Woman" series. I even follow her on Twitter and Facebook.

She molded my idea of what I look for in another woman in my adult life today.

I even had an ex-girlfriend I called "My Becca" because she reminded me so much of Kellie.

Jay Loves Mike Lookinland!

So, I was a "straight boy" who came out at age 44. But, I have two answers and two gay crushes.

First was Mike Lookinland as Bobby Brady on "The Brady Bunch." I was only 12 and he was only 10, but I had such a thing for him. I even wrote to him, and received an autographed pic in return.

A few years later, my first really sexual crush was Christopher Atkins in
"The Blue Lagoon."

He was the first image I jacked-off to often.

Mark Loves Chad Lowe!

I was 16 when I had my first gay crush on Chad Lowe,
and his character Jesse McKenna on "Life Goes On"

I had a mild interest in the show "Life Goes On" when it first came on, but as soon as they introduced Jesse McKenna, I was like, "WHO IS that dreamy guy?"

It was revealed that his character was dealing with HIV/AIDS, and this made my heart break for the character, and love him even more.

Chad gave such an incredible performance. And soon 
I daydreamed of being able to comfort Jesse, embrace him, and tell him I loved him.

I was grappling with being gay and actually had a girlfriend at the time. She wondered why I was so fixated with the show. But a thousand horses would never have been able to drag it out of me, that it was because of Chad Lowe. Haha!

Jerry Loves Austin St. John!

My first gay crush was Austin St. John -
AKA Jason the Red Power Ranger from
"Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers."

I was 8-years old. 

And as far as I'm concerned, there was no bigger heart-throb during my childhood than Jason, the Red Power Ranger.

I remember liking him so much that I wanted to be related to him.

That way, he could sleep over...

My parents got me a ring once, and they asked what color stone I'd like. I picked a red one so I could pretend we were together. No judgements, kids.

Seeing him in those cut-off shirts stirred feelings inside me I didn't even know I had. Or could name.
