Robert Loves Christopher Atkins!

I had my first two gay crushes simultaneously.

I was 8 years old in 1983, and I knew before this time that I liked boys. But when I saw Christopher Atkins in a sexy movie trailer for "A Night In Heaven," I knew this crush wasn't merely an innocent fling.

I clipped the ad out of our newspaper, and kept it hidden under my bed.

I then went outside my house to see if any neighbors had newspapers waiting for the garbageman to pick up. If so, I confiscated them to look for more ads with "A Night In Heaven," to clip and build my collection.

Then I saw an actual article for the movie with a picture of Christopher and co-star Lesley Anne Warren. He was barechested and I got so excited seeing this!

I was afraid of being caught with such hot material, so I didn't keep it. Such a pity!

Aside from Christopher, the other actor who excited me was the blond, hunky, and handsome Ted McGinley. At the time, he was starring on "Happy Days" and I watched the show each week just to catch him.

I think Ted has aged very well now, but I haven't seen a recent photo of Christopher in quite some time. But ever since 1983, all those blond and light-haired men have always rocked my world!

Mike Loves Dolph Lundgren!

My first gay crush was Dolph Lundgren as He-Man!!!

I grew up in a very strict Catholic family in the late 1970's. And the word gay or homosexual was never mentioned.

Thus, at the age of 14, I still didn't know what gay was. Or that gay people even existed.

I'd had boy crushes for hotties like Scott Baio and Christopher Atkins, and swooned over them as much as my sister did. But always in secret. Then in 1987, reading a movie magazine, I had my first "serious" gay crush.

I came across the full page ad for "Masters of the Universe" starring Dolph Lundgren. I was absolutely floored by how cute he was with his perfect blond hair and skimpy costume, which revealed his totally hot, buff body. And I just completely melted!

Dolph was standing in front of bright rays of light shining all around him, and to me he seemed like an archangel warrior sent from the heavens! Also, unlike the animated He-Man who wore fuzzy briefs, Dolph wore a sexy leather pouch! If that wasn't enough, across his chest he had thin, snugly-fitting leather straps!

I didn't have a word for it, but I knew right then I was gay! My heart pounded in my chest, and I felt slightly paralyzed, fixated on the picture.

I decided I had to see the movie, never wanted to lose that picture ever, and I couldn't ever let anyone know I had it! So I rationalized that hiding the photo under my mattress would be the best thing to avoid suspicion.

In any case, I can truthfully say it's He-Man's fault that I'm gay! :) And I still think that movie poster picture of Dolph is totally hot!

Jay Loves Mike Lookinland!

So, I was a "straight boy" who came out at age 44. But, I have two answers and two gay crushes.

First was Mike Lookinland as Bobby Brady on "The Brady Bunch." I was only 12 and he was only 10, but I had such a thing for him. I even wrote to him, and received an autographed pic in return.

A few years later, my first really sexual crush was Christopher Atkins in
"The Blue Lagoon."

He was the first image I jacked-off to often.

David Loves Shaun Cassidy!

My first gay crush at age 14?
Shaun Cassidy as Joe Hardy in "The Hardy Boys."

I first fell in love with him when I saw him singing "That's Rock 'N Roll" on the Grammy Awards in February '77.

I was fascinated when he turned toward the audience, and danced moving his ass in those tight, satin pants.

Then I noticed how cute he was again, on the cover of his first album.

I got to meet him in 1981 when he came to sing in Mexico. By then, he'd matured physically and had a super body - great legs, great butt, great bulge!

Shaun was definitely in my 'wet dreams' as a teenager.

I also liked Christopher Atkins (wow!), Matt Dillon, Greg Evigan, Christopher Reeve, & Parker Stevenson.

But my first? Shaun, always...
