David Loves Hart Bochner!

My first gay crush was actor Hart Bochner!

What's hotter than a super ripped (and wet!) young Dennis Quaid in cutoff jeans in the 70's movie "Breaking Away"?

Hart Bochner wearing his tiny speedo and gold chain!

I spent my gay puberty humping a bicycle around the campus of Arizona State University, and Hart was the quintessential example of the thousands of handsome young men I saw everywhere I looked.

He got typecast as the asshole fratboy and was even sexier dressed in a monk's robes for "Terror Train" with Jamie Lee Curtis. Spoiler alert - Tranny Murderer! And it's NOT Jamie Lee!

He finally got to be a good guy in "Rich and Famous," a remake of a fun old Bette Davis movie, but had to sleep with an aging Jacqueline Bissett. He plays a reporter from Rolling Stone magazine - how sexy is that! He eventually dumps her for a young Meg Ryan, if you can imagine her young. That's how old I am 'cuz I saw it in the theater!

His final sexy role was the love interest of New Age witch turned super-villain Faye Dunaway in "Supergirl," a deservedly underrated film. He was her landscaper, and stayed sweaty and unshaven most of the film. Faye casted her love spell on him, making him dumb as a puppy and just as loyal, launching him into ultra sexy strata!

After that, I lost track of him. I recommend watching all of these movies, including the Bette Davis. Aloha.

Crushmaster's note:
Hart just turned 60 and still looks damn fine! :)

Frank Loves Mike Henry!

My first gay crush was super hot actor Mike Henry.

He was an ex-football star who ended up playing Tarzan in three 1960’s movies.

In the early 70's, at around age 10, a friend of mine showed me a movie magazine about Tarzan films and there was a photo spread on Mike Henry.

The man was all muscles and chest hair and chiseled features.

And I felt something tingling inside me.

I found him very, very attractive.
I talked my friend into giving me that magazine, which I kept for years. No one knew about my crush because homophobia was at its zenith back then.

But I never forgot about Mike Henry.

“Body by Michelangelo” was his catchphrase.
Which was a pretty good description!

Dean Loves Davy Jones!

My first gay crush was Davy Jones of The Monkees.

It was 1969 and I was about 7-years old.

The combination of his looks and their music sent me into a tizzy, and I would sit in front of the TV transfixed.

It was because of him that I would later crush on singers like Bobby Sherman and David Cassidy. But, Davy was the first.

I loved his eyes, his lips, his smile, his hair, his accent -- ok EVERYTHING about him!
He was so cute and seemed so sweet!

If no one was aware of my crush, they were blind. Or just thought I REALLY liked The Monkees.

I still smile when I see a picture of him.

Curtis Loves David Gallagher!

My first gay crush was actor David Gallagher!

He played Simon Camden on the "7th Heaven" TV show.

I had never seen it though, as there was no WB affiliate where I lived.

But then in 1997, TV Guide featured it.

As I looked into his eyes, I loved his smile, and his perfectly parted hair.

I was a naive 13 year old that year, and all I knew was that I got this warm feeling inside just looking at him.

I wanted to be near him.

And to be like him.

Being a blond with green eyes myself, I held the
TV Guide up to the mirror and tried to style my hair the same way. I kept that issue at the head of my bed for nearly a year, saying I liked one of the articles in it.

A year later, I was literally in my OWN 7th heaven when my parents sprung to pay for for DishTV

Not only could I watch all the new episodes, but WGN ran many reruns all day. I stayed home sick from school as often as I could to catch them.

My mom loved that I had taken a liking to such a "wholesome show."

If she only knew the unwholesome things I dreamt of while watching David!

David Loves Leigh McCloskey!

My first gay crush was actor Leigh McCloskey!

It was the mid-70's, and on "Dallas" he played Mitch, the hot boyfriend of that slutty little midget, Lucy Ewing

What a waste!

And it's only in hindsight that I realize the absolute lust I had for this man. It's kind of funny, because he is so not my type now.

But back then? He was a golden-maned god with perfect white teeth and the bluest eyes this side of Lake Tahoe. He was the male equivalent of Farrah Fawcett-Majors. Beautiful!

I really do believe that I was straight before his appearance on the show.

Such was his power, that every time I saw him in a magazine or in some TV movie - "Alexander: The Other Side of Dawn" was my favorite; he played a male hooker - it was instant boner time.

Leigh brought out my inner-homo. As I had no concept for how to deal with these shameful feelings, I just jacked off a lot and did everything I could to look exactly like him.

Even to the point of turning my hair to straw with lemon juice and wearing lots of terry-cloth and short shorts. If I couldn't have him, I'd be him!

That was my thinking at the time.

And the whole fandango came to an abrupt end when BJ McKay ran over poor Goldilocks Lucy with his big red truck. It was at that point I realized brunettes were my thing. And I spanked that monkey like there was no tomorrow.
